Live collaborative editor
Real-time editing with no server. Three devices share a note — take one offline, edit everywhere, reconnect, and they merge. Open a second tab and it syncs live.
How it works
- 1Built on a CRDT (RGA): every character gets a unique id, and a delete leaves a tombstone. Edits can arrive late, twice or out of order and every copy still ends up the same.
- 2Tabs sync for real through the browser’s BroadcastChannel; the three devices on the page talk over a simulated network with a delay and an off switch.
- 3Your cursor stays where it was when someone else types before it.
- 4The tests run 60 random offline-editing sessions across three copies and check they always converge.
