I test software for a living. I build it for fun.
I build API test automation for health-insurance claims at Vidal Health TPA. On my own I build systems from scratch — a SQL database, Raft consensus, a real-time collaborative editor — that you can run right here.
Working with Java 17, TestNG, Rest-Assured, Oracle SQL, Node.js, NestJS, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Python
Move your cursor or tap — the dots in the background are real spring physics.
What I do
More than testing.
Testing is my job. Backend work, AI tools and full apps are how I make sure I understand what I test.
Test automation
API test frameworks in Java 17, TestNG and Rest-Assured.
- 190+ case regression suite
- Parallel runs in CI
- Schema and database checks
Backend
Services in Node.js, NestJS, Express and Spring Boot.
- REST, SSE and JWT auth
- Socket.io real-time
- MongoDB and Oracle SQL
AI, made simple
Games that explain AI agents and how to test them.
- LangGraph: wire an agent
- Langfuse: trace detective
- A prompt-injection game
Systems from scratch
Databases, distributed systems and real-time apps.
- A SQL database with a query planner
- Raft consensus
- A live collaborative editor
Try it
Built to run, not just to read.
Systems written from scratch, everyday tools and games — all running in your browser. No sign-up.
QueryLite: a SQL database
A SQL database written from scratch — parser, B+ tree indexes, a query planner, joins and transactions — running live on 22,000 rows in your browser.
Raft consensus, live
The algorithm that keeps etcd and Kubernetes consistent. Five servers elect a leader and replicate a log — crash them and split the network while it runs.
Live collaborative editor
Real-time editing with no server. Three devices share a note — take one offline, edit everywhere, reconnect, and they merge. Open a second tab and it syncs live.
Projects
Things I’ve built.
QueryLite — a SQL database from scratch
A relational database engine: SQL parser, B+ tree indexes, a cost-aware query planner, three join algorithms and transactions. Runs live on 22,000 rows.
Raft consensus, implemented and visualised
The consensus algorithm behind etcd and Kubernetes: leader election, log replication and commits — tested under random crashes and network partitions.
Live collaborative editor (CRDT)
Google-Docs-style real-time editing with no server: a CRDT keeps every copy in agreement, even after offline edits. Syncs live between browser tabs.
Connect to Nature
A farm-stay marketplace for the Kokan and Nashik regions — one app, two portals, in English, Hindi and Marathi.
Rakta-Setu
Sends blood reports to patients on WhatsApp in Marathi, with a voice web page that explains every result.
Ask-me assistant
Ask anything about me. It searches this site first, then Gemini writes a short answer from those pages only — always with the source.
Writing
Short. Plain. Useful.
LangGraph and Langfuse, in plain words
My notes while learning two tools for AI apps. LangGraph decides what the app does next. Langfuse records what it actually did. You need both.
How to build an API for 100,000 requests a second
The number alone means little. What matters is the kind of traffic, how many requests are in flight at once, and what your system does when it is over its limit.
Your API is slow because of the database
A slow API is rarely slow because of app code. It is usually a missing index, a query inside a loop, a pool that is too big, or paging that gets slower the deeper you go.
